The following is the BSA Weekly Caregiver Newsletter for week of 1/19-1/22:
A Message from the Head of School
Dear Broome Street Academy Community,
I write to you today on the eve of the presidential inauguration perhaps one of the most important ones of our time.
In this new administration we have a president in President Elect Joe Biden who has a plan to fight coronavirus and hopefully, bring this country back to its bright future. We will welcome an administration who plans to invest in education and building diverse communities up.
For the first time in the history of the United States America will see a woman as our Vice President, Kamala Harris. This is remarkable for many reasons, we celebrate Vice President Elect as a woman and a woman of color.
When we encourage young people and tell them that they can grow up to be anything they want, representation matters.
We are hopeful that this auspicious start to 2021 is a sign of all the good that is to come.
Please join BSA in a live viewing party of the inauguration on our website at Broomestreetacademy.org
