The following is the BSA Weekly Caregiver Newsletter for week of 4/26-4/30:
Announcement #1: Semester 2 Reminders
BSA’s hybrid instructional program has been off to a strong start. Students whose parents have elected to send them to school attend once a week on their designated days. For the remaining four days, they continue remote learning with their peers.
Special Events at BSA this week
- This Thursday, students will experience a learning session with their teachers during the morning and afternoon about the increase in violence against the Asian American Pacific Islander community and how we can act as allies to prevent the spread of these hateful acts.
- This Friday, 9th and 10th Grade students will attend a grade-wide town hall at 1 PM during their advocacy period. Students will receive reminders about this event on their Google Classroom.
From the Dean of Equity, Inclusion and Diversity
Announcement # 2: Social/Emotional Support
Just a brief note from the social work team: Now that hybrid learning is in full swing, I wanted to send a reminder to you that we have plenty of social/emotional support to go along with the fantastic in-person learning that has been happening. Do feel free to reach me directly if your BSA scholar would like to discuss getting some assistance from a fantastic BSA counselor.
