Looking Ahead:

  • Parent/Caregiver/Student Conferences are March 23rd (4:30-7:00 PM) & March 24th (1:30 – 4:30 PM) in-person at BSA! We are thrilled to welcome you all to our campus!!
  • March 24th will be a Half Day for Students!

Senior Announcements:

  • Have you had a chance to meet with Ms. Landis, yet? She is the Door’s Supervisor of College Advising. She has been at The Door for six months and comes to us from Figure Skating Harlem where she was the Director of College Access and Persistence/Manager of Educational Opportunities. She has ten years of experience since earning her Master of Education in School Counseling from Hunter College.

She is available Mon-Wed, Friday from 11:00am-2:00pm in room 215 and can be contacted at slandis@broomestreetacademy.com and slandis@door.org or by text at (212) 453-0201.

  • CAREER EXPLORATION WEEK is kicking off next week! Students from each grade will be going on a worksite tour and get an inside look at the daily lives of professionals working at international and local companies. You may find your interests reflected in a role you had not considered before! Permission slips due by Monday, March 13th, 2023.
