Lester Samson, MA

Lester Samson is the Director of Special Services at Broome Street Academy (BSA). Lester started his teaching career in Dallas, TX. He moved to New York City after a few years of teaching in Dallas and continued teaching in East Harlem, NY. In his teaching years, Lester taught Science and supported students as a Special Education teacher. Prior to joining the BSA leadership team, Lester served in various school leadership roles in Queens, Brooklyn, and The Bronx in non-public and public charter schools. Lester earned his Bachelor's in Human Development from The University of Texas and Master's in Community Counseling from The University of Texas at San Antonio. He completed his alternative teaching certificates through Texas Teachers and Educational Leadership certification through Lamar University. Lester's favorite part about working at BSA is working with teachers and getting to see students grow into young adults.
