BSA Spirit Week (Monday, May 20th through Friday, May 24th)
Nik Brautigam, M.Ed. | Senior Director of Academics

Nik Brautigam, M.Ed.

Senior Director of Academics

Nik Brautigam, Director of Curriculum and instruction, provides direct support to teachers and leaders in understanding and designing core instructional resources. He serves as an observer and coach of teachers providing feedback and support to evaluate and foster growth and development. He works with Instructional Leadership to develop and effectively operationalize instructional vision while also designing and facilitating professional development for staff. In 2013 he joined BSA as the founding chemistry and physics teacher and has been teaching at BSA since. Nik has taught over six different science contents in both suburban and urban schools across two different states. These experiences have cemented my belief that the best school environments for student growth are centered in consistent feedback, practice, and equitable staff development. Nik received his BA in Science Education at Bowling Green State University and his M.Ed. in Education Administration from Ashland University.
