Ruth D. Caraballo

Ruth D. Caraballo was born and raised in the Bronx, NY. Ruth graduated from Dewitt Clinton High School and Marymount Manhattan College (Bachelor of Science in Sociology) and Lehman College (Master’s in Organizational Leadership).

Learning from her parents, Ruth’s career has been rooted deeply in community service. Her mother is an author, HIV/AIDS activist, and was a chaplain at Montefiore Medical Center.  Her father was a Pastor of a multicultural church and Director of faith-based initiatives in the Bronx Borough President’s office. 

Ruth has worked with multiple charter schools and nonprofit organizations. Ruth’s early career blossomed at South Bronx Job Corps Academy, where she worked with the USDOL ResCare as Training Manager and completed their Executive Development Institute. She serves on the Board of Directors for MVP Swimmers & Worth Justice, nonprofit organizations that serve communities of color. Ruth is a dedicated professional, producer, and mother of three.
